Mobility problems in Côte d’ivoire have become a major issue for the country’s #economic and #social #development, particularly in the capital #Abidjan. These problems include poor transport infrastructure, the virtual absence of public transport, the proliferation of informal transport, and pollution.

These problems have a negative impact on the #quality #of #life of residents, the #competitiveness #of #businesses and the environment. According to the World Bank, traffic jams cost the country almost 5% of GDP, and the poorest households spend an average of 20% to 30% of their income on transport. In addition, road accidents are frequent and greenhouse gas emissions contribute to climate change.

Faced with these challenges, the Ivorian government has initiated several projects to improve urban mobility in #Abidjan, including the development of a multimodal public transport system, combining rail, lagoon and road. In 2016, it adopted the #Grand #Abidjan development plan, which proposes a coherent vision of how the city should develop over the coming decades. However, these efforts need to be accompanied by a strengthening of the institutional framework, better coordination of stakeholders and greater #participation of the #private #sector.

In this context, the Spotiz mobile app presents itself as an innovative and practical solution to #automotive #maintenance or parking problems by connecting #automotive service providers with #drivers. Spotiz enables users to quickly and easily find a #qualified professional to #repair or #maintain their car, or a secure space to park their vehicle. In this way, Spotiz saves #drivers #time and #money, while promoting #employment and #entrepreneurship in the #automotive #sector. In addition, Spotiz structures and increases the #quality of #garage #services, especially those in the informal sector, by offering them a digital platform that facilitates their #visibility, #management and #customer #fidelization.

Spotiz is therefore more than an app, it’s a trusted partner for all Abidjan drivers.
